We've got tomatoes!
Well...future tomatoes-our seeds have sprouted! Tomato #1 sprouted a couple of days ago, and #2 popped through yesterday. Aren't they adorable?!
The peppers aren't far behind, with #1 probably making its appearance today or tomorrow. These guys have been getting watered 2-3 times a day.
As you can see, these little seedlings are no longer alone, and have been joined with jalapenos, carrots, kale, cilantro, lettuce, and many other veggies.
While taking photos, I noticed that tomato #1 already has a root! This is actually called a taproot, and is a signification that this baby is nearly ready to be planted and started on nutrients.
I can't wait!
Until next time,
Savannah
